Risk Management
Molytex's high-quality manufacturing is supplemented by using a quality assurance plan.
At Molytex we review as many components, assemblies, and subsystems as possible to identify failure modes, and their causes and effects.
For each component, the failure modes and their resulting effects on the rest of the system are shared with the customer to improve the design.
Material Options
There are more than 85.000 commercial options for plastic materials listed in materials databases, and within those, there are 45 polymer families which can be broadly classified into two categories: thermosets and thermoplastics. We primarily focus on the latter category, offering hundreds of stocked engineering-grade thermoplastic resins through our rapid injection moulding service. In addition to our stocked supply of resins, we have the capabilities to support many more customer-supplied resins as well.

If your product has metal parts in it we recommend checking up on latest high tech plastic substitutes. You may find that the choice of material is still the right one, but it is also possible that your product can be improved by replacing metal with plastic. Prototype Manufactoring
We can offer our customers the best possible service, we have dedicated staff and a dedicated manufacturing line for the production of prototypes.
Our highly skilled purchasing staff are able to draw on a wide network of suppliers and have a comprehensive knowledge of the components market worldwide.
Many years of manufacturing professional electronics for a number of demanding customers have given us the expertise in areas such as moulding, glueing, mechanics and, of course, electronics. If modifications are required at short notice, we have a separate model-building workshop equipped to create or adapt the prototype part.
We work closely with our customers. Each project is allocated a dedicated technical project manager and staff. Each project is conducted in accordance with Kitron’s project model and in close cooperation with the customer.
