Launching a new product is a risky venture. However, choosing suppliers and partners carefully can reduce your risk significantly. Molytex can assist you in your project at an early stage and can help you make the best possible decisions.
Our experts can assist you with an in-depth analysis of your product component designs.
Even minor adjustments can have a decisive impact on final quality, effiency and cost.
Design for Manufacturing and Assembly
Here we evaluate aspects of manufacturing and assembly requirements for your product. This review will contribute to the most efficient manufacturing and thus the lowest manufacturing costs.
Design for Test
Test tools and test methods are evaluated to obtain the best test coverage and reliability. Layout and design are evaluated to improve testability and decrease test time during production.
Component Life Cycle Analysis
Evaluation and guidance of components to find the most suited components and suppliers for your product. We run a life cycle analysis of components and bill of materials to prevent design with components that are not recommended.
Molytex's high-quality manufacturing is supplemented by using a quality assurance plan.
At Molytex we review as many components, assemblies, and subsystems as possible to identify failure modes, and their causes and effects.
For each component, the failure modes and their resulting effects on the rest of the system are shared with the customer to improve the design.
There are more than 85.000 commercial options for plastic materials listed in materials databases, and within those, there are 45 polymer families which can be broadly classified into two categories: thermosets and thermoplastics. We primarily focus on the latter category, offering hundreds of stocked engineering-grade thermoplastic resins through our rapid injection moulding service. In addition to our stocked supply of resins, we have the capabilities to support many more customer-supplied resins as well.
You can read more in detail here Injection Moulding Thermoplastics.
If your product has metal parts in it we recommend checking up on latest high tech plastic substitutes. You may find that the choice of material is still the right one, but it is also possible that your product can be improved by replacing metal with plastic. If you want to know more about this subject you are always welcome to connect with one of our experts and discuss what options you have with your product.
We can offer our customers the best possible service, we have dedicated staff and a dedicated manufacturing line for the production of prototypes.
Our highly skilled purchasing staff are able to draw on a wide network of suppliers and have a comprehensive knowledge of the components market worldwide.
Many years of manufacturing professional electronics for a number of demanding customers have given us the expertise in areas such as moulding, glueing, mechanics and, of course, electronics. If modifications are required at short notice, we have a separate model-building workshop equipped to create or adapt the prototype part.
We work closely with our customers. Each project is allocated a dedicated technical project manager and staff. Each project is conducted in accordance with Kitron’s project model and in close cooperation with the customer.
